Well that’s a busy weekend been and gone .. Anyone else feel their weekends are stolen!
Our FitnessPod open day on Saturday afternoon was amazing! A huge thank you to everyone who turned out and had a look around. We had lots of lovely positive feedback from all walks of life, ages & genders. Brilliant! Just shows everyone knows they should try to keep fit but we all agree its not always easy (or dignified!).
The SwimPod proved amazingly popular. Personally I love to swim, its a great full body workout and I always feel really at peace when swimming and a happy bunny when I’ve finished. But for me, over the past few years (& cellulite & pounds!) it’s been difficult to walk the ‘swimming costume walk of shame’ past the life guards and other swimmers in public pools.
The SwimPod is like having your own private pool … it’s like you’ve won the lottery! I been to the FitnessPod SwimPod with my boys both of whom are keen swimmers – you might have seen Andrew demonstrating the SwimPod at the open day on Saturday. It’s lovely to spend time with them doing something we both enjoy …lord knows I can’t kick a football!
At this point I must also say a huge thank you to my other helpers on Saturday .. Emma gave brilliant tours and feedback – she’s a great friend and also FitnessPod’s best customer! Honestly she’s addicted – you’re gonna have to go some to outdo her! And Ben, her son, who helped Andrew demonstrate the SwimPod.
And of course not forgetting our wonderful Silver Sharks Swim School team Nigel & Nicola (& Isabella). They are keen to offer both 1-2-1 swimming lessons for anyone over the age of 8 and stroke improvement sessions for those wanting to improve their swimming – you can find contact details on our website.
So that’s it we’re up and running! All pods ready, open and available for booking! A huge pat on the back to hubby Ian … and I’ll have one too just for the hell of it!
