OK this is a little scary and makes me feel very self conscious, kinda like running around in the front garden naked!! … But this is my personal FitnessPod fitness and health journey so far. I hope it inspires you x
Since husband and I discussed the idea of FitnessPod and took those first few steps to set up the business I’ve been on my own personal fitness and weight loss journey too.
For the past few years I’ve been the heaviest in weight I’ve ever been through my life. Although infrequent bouts of exercising and eating healthy would bring it down slightly and make me feel better I never stuck to them. Getting bored with the one elliptical trainer we had at home and discouraged when results didn’t happen quickly enough.
By July last year I had decided enough was enough. Having been horrified by a photo taken of me on my sons annual football trip in the June, well on the way to being a size 18 and preparing for a holiday with friends I knew I had to do something! And fast!
I had heard from a friend of the Forever Living Clean 9 Detox where she had lost an amazing 13lbs so I decided to give it a go. Never having been one for crash diets I did also baulk at the expense of the 9 day programme but was persuaded by the claims of weight loss, inch loss and feeling fabulous by other user reviews. For not only was I overweight I just felt so awful all the time, sluggish, bloated and tired… fed up!
So last July I started my first Clean 9 Detox. I won’t pretend it was easy but the results I gained were amazing! Within 3 days I was feeling great, sleeping so well and leaping out of bed in the mornings ready for the day. I had also lost 5lbs and 41/2 inches. We didn’t have FitnessPod set up by this point so I walked the dog lots for my daily exercise, he thought it was great too!
Finally I enjoyed our holiday with friends a whopping 10lbs lighter and 8 inches smaller. Even though still overweight I loved the confidence I gained with the weight loss. I also found I wanted to eat healthier and smaller portions, don’t get me wrong I was on holiday but found I didn’t have so many sugar or junk food cravings.
Back home the development of FitnessPod continued and soon I was able to workout using our new GymPod equipment. Apart from a couple of pounds after the holiday I never really put any of the weight back on which I’d lost on my first Forever Living Clean 9 Detox. I think this was probably down to the new exciting equipment at FitnessPod as it really encouraged me to continue exercising.
Since last summer I have completed two more Clean 9 detoxes. One in the November of last year getting ready for the Christmas party period and one in the January as I just wanted to clear out all the junk I felt I’d eaten over the festive period! I’ve been very committed and continued with my FitnessPod workouts, mixing it up between GymPod and SwimPod to make sure I don’t get bored and, never thought I would say, this but I’m loving them!
To date I’ve lost 28lbs (2 stone!) and 17 inches all round.
I’ve dropped to a size 12/14 although still can’t quite believe it myself and tend to buy the bigger size to be on the safe side! My family are so proud of me, I’m proud of myself!, and friends have really started to notice too which spurs me on to stay fit and healthy.
After a lot of dithering I decided to share my story with you as I wanted you to see that it’s not impossible or unachievable. If you’ve read my previous blogs you’ll know I’m just like you with a family and a love of a weekend takeaway and wine.
So impressed am I with the Forever Living products I have now joined as a distributor. Don’t worry I won’t be giving it the hard sell, it’s not in my nature, but if you’d like to find out more please contact me at email@example.com or visit my online shop https://www.foreverliving.com/retail/entry/Shop.do?store=GBR&language=en&distribID=440500013605
I can’t promise it will work for you and I definitely won’t say it will be easy but if you’ve reached the point like me where you just know you need to do something, or you have a special occasion coming up, then I would recommend it as a good place to start.
